Bobby's photographic curiosity started early, growing up in Vermont with five siblings. He could frequently be found with his dad, an avid photographer, developing photographs in the home darkroom of pictures of himself and his siblings. However, it was not until moving to NYC to pursue a career in finance (and meeting and getting married!) that he realized photography was his passion.
Bobby has been named one of the top photographers in New York by Conde Nast, and his work has been featured in New York Magazine, Martha Stewart Weddings, Brides, The Knot, and many other publications."

Bobby is as good as it gets in this industry. The planning leading up to the wedding was professional, flexible and very seamless. Photographs on the wedding day itself ran smoothly despite having to mobilize 16+ friends in the rain & 40+ family members and when we saw the preview of the photos, we were SPEECHLESS. The photographs were beautiful and captured the laughs, smiles, love & pure joy that was felt throughout the evening, not to mention the perfect midnight pictures on NYE!

Finding a photographer was probably the most difficult of all of our planning.- we needed photographs that were able to truly capture the feeling of the room, the emotion & the excitement. With all of that in consideration, we combed through tons of websites & friends recommendations - none of which lived up to what we were truly looking for. Then at another recommendation we met Bobby. At first meeting it was clear that Bobby was professional, friendly & truly a believer in his work, not to mention he passed the wedding photographer personality test with flying colors (ie - would this person annoy us, our friends or our moms at the wedding?) ... we had great rapport as we sat and talked through our vision - carefully explaining all the nuances and pieces that were the most special to my fiance and I. Then he showed us his work and the rest was history! Bobby's photographs leaped off the page, making you feel like you were there at someone else's wedding you never met - you were in the moment with them, crying with them, dancing with their dad ... I don't know how he does it but his work captures the essence of the very vision each bride and groom are after on that special day. So we signed right then and there! Planning with Bobby was a breeze; he's incredibly responsive & worked with us on some specific requests in regards to later timing, family photos, etc. Fast forward to the big day - Bobby had checked out the place in advance so from the minute he arrived he was able to get to work - capturing the perfect shot / details and all. He had timing down to an exact science to ensure the light that we captured was the most ideal, and somehow made taking pictures outside in December 100% worthwhile - they ended up GORGEOUS! He and his team were fun, easy going and the product was pure perfection! We would highly recommend him!
